Radio Debate On The Assassination of Mohamed Warsame Mohamed (Feysal)

This radio debate discusses the assassination of Mohamed Warsame, Somali member of parliament, in the presidential palace in Mogadishu raises a lot of questions. The debate reveals that the government did not investigate the killing of it's own parliamentarian. But what does this say about the future of the country? where is accountability for crimes against high profile government officials? How was this killing even possible in a highly fortified Villa Somalia compound? The president and the speaker of the parliament did not attend the funeral of Mohamed Warsame even though both were present in Mogadishu and they previously attended similar funeral events. Does this raise the level of suspicion even further? asks one of the callers.

Immunity or Impunity?

Ra'iisul wasaarahii hore ee Somaliya Maxamed Cali samatar oo wali dacwad kaga furan tahay dalka maraykanka ayaa dowladda Xasan Sheekh Maxamud damaanad dibloomaasinimo siisay horaantii 2013 hadana kala laabatay

Should Former Somali Premier Mohamed Ali Samatar be held accountable for crimes committed during his reign more than two decades ago or should he receive diplomatic immunity from prosecution in U.S. federal courts?
